theResearchPilot ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us:
- Email address when you sign up to receive our free templates and updates.
- Name, email address, and message when you send us a note through the contact form.
We also receive basic technical and usage data (such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate location) through the analytics and advertising services described below.
How we use it
- To send you updates about template and coaching launches
- To send occasional journal content, if you opt in
- We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes
Cookies and analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use this site (for example, which pages are viewed). Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-first: it does not use cookies or track individual visitors across sites. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads.
How long we keep your data
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed, and contact-form messages for as long as needed to respond to you. If you unsubscribe, your address is removed from active mailing lists, though MailerLite may retain a suppression record to ensure you aren't re-added by mistake.

Children's privacy
This site and its services are intended for adults, including graduate students and researchers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
