These terms govern your use of theResearchPilot (theresearchpilot.com), operated by Rizwan Alam ("we," "us"). By using this site, downloading our templates, or buying our products or services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What we offer

theResearchPilot provides free and paid templates and workbooks, 1:1 coaching for Master's and PhD candidates, and free journal articles about the dissertation process. Some offerings are still opening in stages, and we may change, pause, or discontinue any of them.

Academic integrity

Our templates, articles, and coaching are designed to help you plan, structure, and strengthen your own work. We do not write assignments, theses, or dissertations for submission as someone else's work, and you shouldn't use our materials for that purpose. You are responsible for following your institution's academic integrity and research ethics rules.

Templates and workbooks

When you download a free or Pro template, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own research and writing. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or share the files, or present them as your own product.

Coaching

Coaching is guidance and feedback. You keep full ownership of your work and all decisions about it. We can't guarantee any particular outcome, such as advisor or committee approval, a grade, a publication, or a degree.

Payments and refunds

Prices are shown at the point of purchase. If you have a problem with a purchase, contact us at hello@theresearchpilot.com and we'll review your request.

Intellectual property

The content on this site, including text, templates, graphics, and logos, belongs to theResearchPilot or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may link to our pages, but you may not copy or republish our content without written permission.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, gain unauthorized access, or use it for anything unlawful.

Third-party links and advertising

This site may link to third-party websites and displays ads served by Google AdSense. We don't control those sites or advertisers, and ads or links are not endorsements. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work.

No warranties and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or its materials.
